Ice rescue training with Rockland County
Tallman is one of Rockland County's designated Ice Rescue teams. Members have taken extended training on and in the ice alongside the New York State Division of Homeland Security.

New line officers installed
The department's annual installation dinner swore in a new slate of line officers — Chief, 1st & 2nd Assistant Chiefs, Captain, and Lieutenants — who together command over 600 alarms a year.
Responding alongside neighboring departments
When a major alarm outpaces one house's reach, Tallman has responded shoulder-to-shoulder with Spring Valley, Monsey, Hillcrest, and South Spring Valley.
