Station Tours

Tours are a great way to introduce kids and community groups to the firehouse, the apparatus, and fire safety basics — and since we're an all-volunteer department, tours depend on member availability, so a little advance notice goes a long way.

What to Expect

• A walk-through of the apparatus bay and a look at the trucks and equipment we respond with.
• An age-appropriate rundown of what to do if there's a fire at home — including what a firefighter in full gear looks and sounds like, so it's less scary if a child ever sees one up close during a real emergency.
• A chance to ask questions and, when schedules allow, meet the on-duty crew.

Tours typically run 30–45 minutes. Because we're staffed entirely by volunteers who could be called out at any moment, we ask for flexibility — if the department gets a call during your visit, the tour may need to pause or reschedule.
