A Ramapo Highway Department pickup caught fire after swerving to avoid a dog and striking a utility pole on Wilder Road; the driver escaped and was treated for a minor injury.

Firefighters used a combination of water and foam to extinguish a fully involved vehicle fire of undetermined cause; no injuries were reported.

Tallman served as FAST team for a Monsey structure fire, alongside Spring Valley and Hillcrest, remaining on scene for about three hours.

Members drilled on FAST team rescue techniques — ladders, ropes, interior rescue, and securing victims to backboards and stokes baskets — with volunteer 'victims' for realistic simulation.
