The members of the Tallman Fire Department received FAST Team Rescue Techniques training on February 20, 2012. Use of ladders, ropes, interior rescue, and securing victims to backboards and stokes baskets were taught and drilled on. Various members volunteered to be “victims” during the drill and were moved, manipulated, and provided realistic simulations of what firefighters would typically face in various emergency situations.
