A vehicle fire broke out on the southbound side of the New York State Thruway between Exits 15 and 14B in the Suffern area, prompting a large emergency response.
Crews from the Hillburn Fire Department, Tallman Fire Department, and New York State Police arrived quickly and worked to bring the blaze under control. The fire was contained with no injuries reported. Drivers in the area experienced significant delays as emergency crews operated on scene and traffic was diverted around the incident.
