On October 28, 2015 at approximately 8:26 pm, Ramapo Police were advised of a structure fire on Farview Terrace in the Village of Airmont. Tallman FD responded to the scene, along with Suffern FD, Mahwah FD, Hillburn FD and Monsey FD. Ramapo Valley Ambulance Corp and Rockland Paramedic Services responded. The sole occupant at the time was transported by Ramapo Valley Ambulance Corp to Good Samaritan Hospital for smoke inhalation. The incident was investigated by the Ramapo Police Detective Bureau, Rockland County Sheriff’s Office BCI Unit, and the Village of Airmont Fire Inspector.
