Members of the Tallman Fire Department completed their recertifications for flashover training. Flashovers are a dangerous risk to all firefighters, and recognizing the signs of a potential flashover, as well as how to survive one, are skills that we practice every year. In addition to classroom training on flashovers and backdrafts, firefighters go through live fire actual flashover training and survival techniques.
Training was completed at the Rockland County training center.
