Tallman firefighters completed their annual Bloodborne Pathogens training. This training is mandated by OSHA and is done once per year.
The firefighters have been trained on the latest techniques to protect both victims of accidents as well as themselves when responding to calls that could transmit pathogens.
Safety for all is of utmost concern, which goes hand in hand with the many rescues that our firefighters are called to perform many times each year.
