Tallman firefighters requalified as one of Rockland County’s Ice Rescue Teams. Firefighters practiced at Camp Scuffy. Ice was cut out in the middle of the lake, and various methods of rescue were used to simulate many different scenarios.
The Tallman Fire District maintains a significant amount of equipment for firefighters to rapidly respond to victims in need of ice rescue.
