The Tallman Fire Department recently conducted a refresher training course in working with rescue helicopters for transporting victims, search and rescue, and proper techniques in learning how to set up landing zones. The firefighters also learned where items were kept in the helicopter, how to properly load victims and in case of a helicopter crash, how to rescue the crew and staff.
