Residents of 3 Brook St. in Suffern escaped uninjured after a fire broke out at the house one Saturday evening. Firefighters responded around 5:30 p.m. and quickly got the fire under control, according to Suffern Police Chief Clarke Osborn, who was relieved to report everybody made it out safely.

Information on how the fire started, or how many people were home at the time, wasn’t immediately available. The Suffern and Tallman fire departments responded to the scene along with emergency medical personnel; Tallman responded with its 2001 pumper and rescue, along with FAST team members.
